The Rochester Recreation Club of the Deaf has LOTS of activities on their calendar for Deaf Awareness week, including the fourth biennial “William ‘Dummy’ Hoy Classic”, where they will be playing a baseball game against the Buffalo Club of the Deaf.
Also involved with the organization of the game is the Regional Center for Independent Living in NY, and there will also be another co-ed game for all men and women who want to play.
We were excited to be able to provide DVD’s for the event, where they will be using them as a fundraiser, and there will be a public showing too!
The games will be on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Genesee Country Village & Museum beginning at 11:00 am, and you can find out more about the event here. and if you know any more about the event, please tell us!
